First Step Recovery

Housing for recovering adult males which includes supportive services up to one year, including case management, outreach and advocacy, 12-step recovery meetings and support groups and life skills. We provide an environment for women to connect with others in the recovering community and we encourage our residents to build friendships that will support them as they begin their journey to recovery. We also help them as they begin to repair damaged relationships with loved ones. We respect that everyone’s journey is different, and we work with each woman individually to find what works best for them and give them the time necessary to build confidence in their own ability to reclaim their lives.

First Step Home provides an entire continuum of care to women with addiction. Our staff work to assist women in rebuilding their families as they break the cycle of drug and alcohol addiction. Since 1992, First Step Recovery Homes, Inc. under the direction of its founder, Keith Giles, has been providing transitional and long term housing to men recovering from the disease of addiction. Assistance includes drug/alcohol counseling, domestic violence and dual diagnostic groups, family reunification, a furniture bank, reference/referral services and youth entrepreneur training. First Step Recovery House was established by recovering addicts in 2007 for the purpose of providing individuals in early recovery with a program of personal and spiritual growth within a safe and supportive environment.
